ever wonder how coulf do that?As i read John C. maxwell's book entitled failing forward,i was pretty much impressed by his definition of success and failure. It is just simply that failure means that there is something that is hindering u from obtaining what u wanted.
...simple direct specific
#1 See the big picture.
You got to know that once u have success, it doesnt mean that everything had ended.Sure, there is an alpha and omega...but the end is more majestic than u and i ever knew or felt. The end of hard work is something that is indescribable and beyond words.U can always add something to ur success and make it better.frankly speaking right now i am retaking my Os and i am not ashamed of it.True,it may be risky. But i have seen the big picture. Most people would say that if u failed means that u did not study. To me no matter how i studied, i always get borderline grades that can be scary if it plunges. Now,to have seen the big picture really makes me want to kick myself!!! I realised that i have a habit of not answering the question specifically and not reading and undersatnding given sources before hand.Old habits die hard and the same level of marks hit me time and time again. If u have seen one of my posts in http://lifesavinglove.blogspot.com/2005/05/abandoning-secular-teachings.html, entitled "abandoning secular teachings:1)boys don't cry , u may have guessed what i did when i saw my horrendous results. I cried. But every time after each "session" of crying, i realised God made me more mature. In the last part of 1st or 2nd corinthians,Christ said "my grace is sufficient for ur weaknesses". I calimes his grace and each time became more mature after letting my tears flow.I realised i learnt an important lesson........
#2 Be patient with urself.!!!
What was the lesson? i learnt to be patient with myself. Most failures tend to rush and work harder,as John C. Maxwell said in the book.Instead, focus on ur strenghts and give urself incentives, encourage urself everytime u hit a breakthrough in a certain area,be it ur habits in answring questions,or some other small things.of course, there is absolutely no room at all for complacency.Rock on,guys!!!!Grow strong, not Grow fast. remember that:
"We have borne the image of the earth; we shall bear the image of the heavenly (I CORINTHIANS 15:49-50)."
victory is yours for the taking.
